Alha Airport is the main cargo handler in Milan, the biggest in Italy. The company operates in Milan MXP International Airport since 1997 and at the moment handles 70% of the whole freight in the Airport (In 2007 more than 330.000 tonns of freight have been handled), with 300 persons of staff.

Alha Airport S.p.a. operates in MXP Cargo City, with a total of 20.000 sqm of indoor facilities and 25.000 sqm of external areas.
The warehouse is provided with modern and efficient structures and equipment, which allow the handling of every kind of cargo; among these: 15 refrigerated rooms, caveau, protected and monitored areas for valuable shipments, morgue, special areas for dangerous goods, some of which alarmed by infra-red barriers for dangerous – valuable shipments (perfumes). ULDs are built up in 12 workstations and a fully automated stacker system can store up to 350 pallets.
