Brescia Airport
The airport managing society “Aeroporto Gabriele d’Annunzio SpA” was established on 14th June 2002.The act of establishment was signed by the then president of Catullo SpA Fernando Sanson, the head of the Brescia Chamber of Commerce Francesco Bettoni and the president of the Brescia Province Alberto Cavalli, who followed the guide lines approved on 11th February 2002 during the Catullo shareholders assembly.
The initial capital of Euro 15.500.000,00 was detained for 85% by Valerio Catullo SpA, and the remaining 15% was equally distributed between the Province and Chamber of Commerce of Brescia.
The airport president is the businessman Ugo Gussalli Beretta, who was nominated by the above bodies, but chosen by agreement among the shareholders, while councillors are Gian Maria Rizzi and Vigilio Bettinsol, in addition to Cav. Beretta.
The society aim is to promote the Brescia terminal by developing complementary and specialised services with respect to Verona airport, as they are both part of the Sistema Aeroportuale del Garda.
