Menzies Aviation is a subsidiary of John Menzies plc which has an annual turnover of £1.45bn, an operating profit of £34m and employs over 14,000 employees worldwide.Their cargo services are focused on the specialist needs of cargo carriers and their customers all around the world. Services include freight handling, warehousing, courier and mail services, manpower supply, and interline tucking.
Menzies understanding and capability in these aeras recently assisted Polar Air Cargo to establish a new European cargo hub at Amsterdam's Scipol Airport. Polar's traffic is not handled in dedicated 10,000 square metre warehouse at Schipol and Mezies support them in providing their rampand cargo transfert needs whilst operating their facility.
