CORATEC AG, Verbundelemente Technologie
CORATEC AG is an independent international company based in Gunzgen, Switzerland. It develops, manufactures and markets lightweight composite panels consisting of a lightweight core material and facing materials such as aluminium, glass-fibre reinforced polyester, and others.The technology is based on a 30 year old patented procedure developed by ALUSUISSE. In autumn 2004, ALCAN – the new owner of ALUSUISSE – sold the ALUCOPAN product range to Schneider AG of Pratteln, Switzerland.
On November 1st, 2004, the company was renamed as CORATEC AG, and its products are sold under the brand name CORAPAN®.
