Gremolith AG

The founding of Gremolith Ltd. goes back to the year 1941 starting with the production of Galalithe. During the 1960's the company developed into a modern resin manufacture. Today, the company is an independent manufacturer and supplier of unsaturated polyester resins (UP), furan resins and phenolic resins including various condensation resins and polymers for a wide range of uses.


The activities in the foundry industry led to a joint venture with Ashland-Suedchemie-Kernfest GmbH/Germany to establish Ashland-Suedchemie-Gremolith Ltd. (ASG).

Along with the production of its own products, GREMOLITH toll-manufactures today approximately 800 tons of resins for customers in the paint, varnish and adhesive industry.
