CNIM is a Group with over 130 years of experience in the mechanical, energy and environment fields, with an annual turnover of 522,2 Millions of Euros (2006).

Exports account for a large part of CNIM's production, with about 70% of turnover generated outside France. CNIM is represented in over 60 countries by subsidiaries, agents or licensees and employs 2,700 people, over half of which are highly qualified engineers and technicians.

CNIM Transport Division is specialised in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance/renovation of:
• heavy-duty escalators, moving walkways and elevators for mass transit systems and airports,
• high-speed walkways for stations or terminals connection,
• platform screen doors for automatic metros.
