UK AeroSpace, Defence and Security trade body increases member presence in key market , A|D|S

Bangalore advanced engineering regional office (aero) open for businessA|D|S, the UK's AeroSpace, Defence and Security trade body today (Monday) announced that a new office is now open in Bangalore, India for UK industry to access this vital, innovative and rapidly-growing market. This will complement the existing A|D|S office in New Delhi.
The UK Advanced Engineering Regional Office (AERO) is supported by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) as well as other trade associations and devolved UK administrations. It will be based in Bangalore, staffed full-time and available for companies to access the Indian market, network with businesses operating in it as well as market their products and services.
The AERO Director is Ashok Saxeena who is in the UK this week to meet A|D|S members considering involvement in the opportunity offered by this Bangalore base.
Ian Godden, Chairman of A|D|S, said:
“I experienced the wide range of capabilities and available opportunities in the Indian aerospace, defence and security sector during my visit to AeroIndia in February of this year. We were delighted to be able to confirm at that time that we had intentions to open an office in Bangalore before the end of the year".
“Now that this office is open for business we look forward to British companies involved in any form of advanced engineering getting in touch with Ashok Saxeena and his team to find out how they can access Bangalore as their springboard into this vibrant and fast-growing market.”
