FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL LTD SIGNS OFFICIAL CONTRACTS FOR BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2010 , A|D|S

UK airshow organisers, Farnborough International Ltd (FIL) today signed official contracts as joint organisers of the inaugural Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) - which will be held at the Sakhir airbase, 21-23 January 2010 – alongside Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) for the Kingdom of Bahrain under Royal patronage.
The signing ceremony and press briefing – attended by leading industry figures and media - took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Place de la Republique, Paris as part of FIL’s participation in the Paris Air Show where the company is promoting both BIAS and its other forthcoming event, Farnborough International Airshow which will take place 19-25 July 2010. BIAS Contracts were signed by FIL CEO, Shaun Ormrod and CAA Under-Secretary, Captain Abdulrahman Al Gaoud.
Amanda Stainer, Exhibitions and Events Director at FIL commented: “We are honoured that so many people were able to attend today’s event to witness the signing of contracts for this important new air show. Preparation for the show is going exceptionally well and sales are buoyant with much positive interest here at Le Bourget.
