Release Date: 2009-06-19

At the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget from June 15th to June 21st the German Titanium and Aluminium investment casting specialist TITAL has been able to expand its position as a supplier of large Titanium parts. Furthermore, the company which is located in North Rhine Westphalia presented its new Corporate Design. In spite of the tense economic situation the atmosphere on the fair was very good according to observations from Philipp Jerusalem, Director Sales & Marketing at TITAL. The whole aerospace industry is expecting a positive market development in the long run. , TITAL was able to establish numerous new contacts with international companies from the defence and aerospace industry as well as intensify already existing contacts with well-known large aircraft manufacturers. The Paris Air Show enjoys an exceptional position: As the biggest trade fair of the year it fulfils the function of a barometer for all procurement managers and exhibitors from the aerospace industry.

Philipp Jerusalem: "During this week we noticed once again that with the installation of our new large-scale casting facility at the beginning of this year we were on the right track." Titanium structural parts for aircrafts will become more and more important. Due to the large-scale casting facility TITAL is the only casting specialist in Europe who is able to produce big and complex Titanium investment casting parts with a component size of up to 60 inches and a weight of up to 661 pounds. For this reason TITAL has a strong position to compete for Titanium castings, says Jerusalem.

The new corporate design received a very good feedback. The new corporate design of TITAL presents the company in an almost minimalist style in a subtle white. For the relaunch all colors, space and design that could be minimized were reduced. The focus of the attention is now exclusively on the products, among them carefully illuminated pictures of turbines, casings, elements of aircraft doors and other castings. The 24 pages image brochure deals generously with free spaces; however, it offers consolidated and precise technical information in confined spaces in the texts. The new internet presence is characterized by increased functionality, direct access to downloads and clearly positioned references to support by phone and e-mail. Thus the internet presence of the company was converted to a modern b2b communication platform: www.tital.de .

Along with TITAL another 82 member companies of the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) exhibited at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. Among them Rohde & Schwart GmbH & Co. KG, Sitec Aerospace GmbH, Otto Fuchs Metallwerke, Behr Industrietechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Diehl Avionik Systeme GmbH and Diehl Luftfahrt Elektronik GmbH. Therefore this year's trade-show presentation of the BDLI belongs to one of the biggest German trade-show presentations outside of Germany in recent years.
