Moscow, September 8. AviaPort – Comac (Commercial Aircraft Corp of China) presented the new narrow-body C919 at Asian Aerospace 2009 in Hong Kong, according to China Defense.The new aircraft is expected to be a strong rival of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.
It is the second time that the international airshow Asian Aerospace-2009 takes place at AsiaWorld-Expo near the Hong Kong international airport. Since 1981, the show is regularly on in Singapore at the international Changi airport. However, due to its planned expansion the organizers had to find another site.
