Metawell GmbH – metal sandwich technology, a medium-sized company situated in Neuburg/Donau (Southern Germany), produces and distributes worldwide the purely metal sandwich panel Metawell®.This innovative aluminium lighweight panel has a structure similar to that of a million times tried-and-tested cardboard: One respectively two aluminium cover sheets are glued to a thin corrugated aluminium sheet in a continuous production process.
With Metawell® sandwich panels engineers and designers of all branches have a material with convincing dynamic and optical caracteristics and numerous approvals at hand. Compared with solid aluminium Metawell panels allow weight savings of up to 75%. Thanks to their even surface the panels are also an ideal carrier for other materials.
The visible surface of Metawell® aluminium panels can be coloured with various high-quality paint-systems. The primered surface can also be printed on or foil-coated.
Apart from mere semi-finished panels Metawell GmbH also offers machined elements or finished and application-adjusted components. Several CNC machines, a material testing laboratory and a well-skilled staff as well as a team of engineers and technicians are available to warrant an effective translation of the customers' demands into technically convinving and cost-effective solutions.
