COMPANY BACKGROUND & MISSION
Incepted in 1962, IER is a privately held company which specializes in the design, manufacturing and worldwide marketing of custom intelligent workstations and systems for large transportation networks and automatic identification applications.
In 2002, IER acquired Automatic Systems SA, a leading worldwide supplier of access control systems for pedestrians, vehicles and public transportation applications. IER and Automatic Systems now combine automatic gates with ATB products and biometric devices (finger print, iris or facial recognition) to provide secure and cost effective access solutions and streamline passenger processing at airports.
IER-AS access control solutions are also available to check airport staff.
IER references include over 175 airlines, 800 airports, 20,000 travel agencies worldwide in which ATB printers and readers as well as bag tag printers have been deployed over the past 25 years.
More recently, IER has also manufactured and delivered several hundreds of CUSS self-service check-in kiosks to 22 airports and 19 airlines worldwide.
