英国专家“帮助开通埃及航班”, AOA集团

Release Date: 2009-04-17

British expats are helping to develop new air routes to Egypt, a carrier has claimed.

Rick Green, chief executive officer for the Globespan Group, commented that UK residents buying property in the country have had an affect on the services its flyglobespan airline provides.

He said: "More Brits are buying property in Egypt … which, as a low cost provider, helps us develop our route network planning."

Mr Green added that the airline has been developing Egypt as a travel destination for tourists, something which can be seen in its expansion of flights to the country.

He revealed that the carrier is adding a new route from Glasgow to Sharm El Sheikh to improve links between the nation and the UK.

The flights will run each Saturday and join a service from the Scottish city to Hurghada, which operates every Wednesday.

Journeys to these destinations start at £99.99, including taxes.
