Flybe has revealed it is set to host a major international aviation event.
The regional carrier will stage the Operators'' Maintenance Forum in Exeter later this month.
As part of the two-day show, airlines will be educated in cost-efficient practices through a series of workshops.
Marshall Barrand, Flybe''s director of aviation services, commented that the event is great news for his firm, which is the recognised Embraer Service Centre for Europe.
He added: "We are naturally delighted to host this prestigious event that will see Embraer customers from all over the world visit Exeter for the very first time."
Mr Barrand went on to say that he is "extremely upbeat" about the future of Flybe Aviation Services, as he believes there is potential to expand the workshops that the firm currently offers.
In other industry news, Heathrow Airport recently installed Power Poles to allow passengers to charge mobile phones while in terminals one and three as part of a £300,000 scheme.
