喷气工程技术支持有限公司发起CAMO适航管理服务, 喷气工程技术支持有限公司

Release Date: 2009-09-22

Jet Engineering Technical Support Ltd (“JETS”) has created a joint venture with Bond Trust in Jersey to create CAMO AVIATION to provide “off shore” aircraft airworthiness management services. New regulations which came into force in April 08 from EASA (European Directive 216/2008) now require ALL foreign operators registered aircraft over 5700kgs flying into Europe to demonstrate airworthiness of their aircraft.
CAMO AVIATION provides foreign operators with the added benefit of not only complying with Article 216/2008 but doing it off shore, thereby maintaining the operators “off shore” status for tax purposes.

Peter Hadingue, Commercial Manager for JETS said “Many operators are not aware of these regulations and think that if their aircraft is on “CAMP”* then it’s airworthy, which won’t always be the case”.

Operators that can’t demonstrate airworthiness run the risk of being ramp checked and in the worst case they may be invalidating their hull insurance. CAMO AVIATION is targeting owners, banks, and lessors, many of whom are unaware that their assets are not being maintained in an air-worthy condition.

JETS is exhibiting this year at the JetExpo in Moscow, 16-18th September, stand NoA135.
