Following a Year 2008 marked by organic growth of 17 % (excluding non-recurring items), the prospects for 2009, which take into account the sharp production rate drops of regional aircraft and business aircraft, count on a fall in business of approximately 20%.

In this context, in addition to the measures already announced (a hiring freeze, the termination of temporary work contracts, a resort to short-time working), the Group is studying a reorganization of the industrial activities of the Toulouse, France region intended to strengthen its competitiveness.

As part of this project, the Downtown Toulouse site will remain the management and development center of the aerostructures sector. It will also be in charge of the integration of aircraft doors at the industrial level. The Gimont site has been confirmed in its role of assembling fuselage sections (large-dimensioned elements). The Cornebarrieu aerostructures activities will be moved to the Gimont and Toulouse sites. The Cornebarrieu site, which benefits from the proximity of the Toulouse Blagnac Airport runways, will continue its aircraft maintenance and repair activities within LATECOERE Aéroservices.
