The Nuremberg-based Diehl group acquired the Hamburg-based DASELL Cabin Interior GmbH, a supplier for aircraft cabin elements, from Airbus and will integrate the company into the Corporate Division Diehl Aerosystems. The contracts for the transition with Airbus have been signed in accordance with Thales, our long-standing partner in the aerospace business. Thales is considering to join this new acquisition at a later point in time

The acquisition is part of the common strategic targets for the expansion of Diehl Aerosystems' activities in the aircraft cabin business. DASELL, with its competencies for aircraft lavatories and wash rooms, is an important reinforcement of our position as supplier of integrated cabin systems for the international aerospace industry.

The takeover is subject to approval by the relevant anti-trust authorities.
