The German investment casting specialist TITAL will present itself with a new, classic and modern corporate design at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget from 15th to 21st June 2009. TITAL supplies all leading aerospace companies around the world with high class aluminum and titanium investment casting products. Its customers include EADS, Rolls Royce, Airbus, Snecma, BAE SYSTEMS as well as numerous other customers from France, the UK, Italy and the US as well as from the growing markets in Russia, Brazil, China, India and Turkey.

The new corporate image from TITAL was developed by the advertising and design agency SPARK Werbeagentur GmbH from Arnsberg, Germany, and presents itself in an almost minimalist style in a subtle white. "We were determined to get away from the plain "gray" industry image to the high tech specialist that we are. Through the simple design we focus the attention on the product" explains Philipp Jerusalem, Director Sales and Marketing at TITAL.The creative professionals of the SPARK team minimized colors, spaces and design for the relaunch in order to focus the attention on the products from TITAL. In the focus of the image brochure and internet presence are carefully illuminated pictures of turbines, casings, elements of aircraft doors and other castings. The 24 pages image brochure uses generously free spaces; however, it offers consolidated and precise technical information in confined spaces in the texts.

"We wanted to give TITAL a modern appearance. Less is more. The result speaks for itself." explains Hartmut-Lorenz Funke, General Manager of SPARK Werbeagentur GmbH. "On the other hand out photographer Christoph Meinschäfer wanted to show that you can picture even plain industry products in a contemporary manner." SPARK, who belongs to the most remarkable concept agencies in North Rhine Westphalia for more than ten years (Geha, BJB, Wepa; Cloer, Berndes, GRAEF) has also designed the new internet presence of TITAL. Significantly increased functionality, direct access to downloads, clearly positioned references to support by phone and e-mail raise the internet presence of the company from a plain electronic business card to the level of a modern b2b communication platform: www.tital.de.

"The dialogue with our clients is very important to us, to be honest this is part of our success", explains Philipp Schack, Managing Director of TITAL. "Therefore it was only consistent that we show this through the media of company communications." In fact, TITAL has committed itself to the principle of "Concurrent Engineering"; in a close dialogue with the customers' engineers and product developers they always strive for cost efficient solutions for the aircraft industry. The challenge with this: "We want to show the engineers that it is more efficient and profitable to produce parts as investment castings in the future which have originally been milled from the solid ", explains Philipp Jerusalem: "In the beginning this is not always easy as you cannot persuade engineers, you have to convince them. But as soon as we have convinced them it goes really well." It is an advantage for TITAL that the company is able to produce Aluminium investment castings with Casting Factor 1.0 due to the patented HERO Premium Casting® process. Regarding Titanium components TITAL has a unique position as well: Since the commissioning of the new large investment casting plant the company is the only one in Europe that can produce components with an edge length of up to 60 inches and a weight of up to 660 lbs.
