The UK''s airports are to see an influx of new flights and routes as budget airline easyJet extends its range of European destinations.
There will be eight new routes operating in UK airports which will include destinations such as Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Lyon and Hamburg.
Liverpool, Luton and Gatwick airports will get the majority of the destinations and there will be 15 new routes overall throughout Europe.
Andy Harrison, easyJet''s chief executive, said: "We are delighted to be announcing even more new routes from the UK and across Europe. Times are tough for consumers, so we are proud to offer great year-round holiday opportunities in fantastic places."
He added that flights from the airports will be at incredibly low prices and said easyJet is the best choice for sun seekers, city breakers and business travellers.
EasyJet has recently pledged to raise £1 million for the Alzheimer''s Society, which is its charity partner for 2009.
