巴黎戴高乐机场让您体会法航周到服务, 法航-荷航集团
Release Date: 2009-08-19
How does one successfully organize 23,000 possible connections per week at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport? By setting up a true operations control center which detects the tiniest glitch that could disrupt the Air France hub's ultra-precise mechanism.
Weather conditions, heavy traffic, passengers held up at the security checkpoints, congested areas at the airport, anything which could slow down passengers and their baggage are all dealt with at the centre called the Hub CC (Hub Operations Control Centre), set up by Air France in 2007. The Hub CC takes all the necessary decisions to successfully transfer connecting passengers and their baggage to their onward flights, as well as to improve the Company's on-time performance. For example, the HubCC can decide whether to park a plane at one stand rather than another so that a significant number of connecting passengers can be more easily transferred to their onward flights.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Air France offers 23,000 connecting opportunities each week and handles 900 aircraft turnarounds each day (a "turnaround" is the arrival and departure of an aircraft).
Air France employs 10,000 people at Paris-CDG.
